STUDIO SPACE
Located in the SoMa of San Francisco, this spacious loft was designed for an aspiring entrepreneur in their late 20's. Although they spend most days working in an office, their job allows flexibility where they can work remotely at times. Thus, they wanted a space with lots of natural lighting and gives the feeling of a secluded getaway from the hustle of city life.
To give overall warmth to the space, I placed a reddish-brown terra cotta tile throughout the entire open area. I picked out a few mid-century modern pieces from West Elm. To add some contrast in the bathroom, I lined the floors with a intricate blue and white Spanish tile and brought it up halfway on the walls. I added touches of gold hardware to accent the navy bear-claw footed tub. |
